This work began as sketches from drawing walks around Bristol, which were then developed imaginatively in the studio. Drawing from life in the city allows me to see the world afresh, explore my inner landscape and refreshes my relationship to mark making. This piece carries the memories of my drawing walk, imbued with thought and emotions in the studio, creating this original drawing.
