This work originated from sketches captured during drawing walks around Bristol, which were then reimagined within the studio. By overlapping forms from multiple studies, I allow the composition to emerge through their interaction, creating a landscape of overlapping forms.

Building upon this, I introduce color intuitively—layering the richness of waxy oil pastels with the velvet texture of soft pastels. This abstract base becomes a territory for the imagination, where familiar characters and repeated motifs begin to surface, forming a personal visual language.

Framing & Care: This drawing is sold unframed. The piece has been stabilized with professional fixative, but remains sensitive to touch. Please handle with care. For permanent protection, I recommend framing behind glass with a mount to provide a small air gap between the artwork and the glass.
